NIGHTSONG

Your phone on the nightstand
becomes the sensor.

BSA listens for snore burden and breathing regularity — on-device. Nightsong builds a you-vs-you Somnus Index only when the night was heard. It does not diagnose. Works with iPhone, Android, Apple Watch, and iPad.

The Nightsong Home screen in the morning: a Somnus Index of 73 labeled Steady, the line A steady night, in your typical range, above cards for breathing, snore and sleep.

How it works

Nightsong listens to how you actually breathe at night, using BSA, the on-device acoustic breathing and snoring engine. No wearable, no hardware, nothing to buy.

You sleep. Your phone listens. The platform begins to understand your nights.

The Somnus Index

The Somnus Index is one plain-language wellness number that moves with you, night over night — you vs you: snore burden and breathing regularity over your own nights.

No Index if the night was not heard. We do not invent a score to fill a gap or keep a streak.

Inside Nightsong

One number, and the nights behind it.

Your night, one honest number.
The Nightsong Trends screen over 30 nights: sparklines for Somnus Index 84, oxygen 95 percent, HRV 82ms, breathing rate 18 per minute, snore time 7 minutes, REM and deep sleep, with an 8 night bedtime streak.
Thirty nights, your own baseline.
The Nightsong Smart Wake screen: a gentle wake by 8:00 with a sound and haptic ramp, a hard stop at the time you set, and a 5 minute backup alarm.
Wake in your lighter window, no alarm.
The Nightsong Apple Watch morning screen at 7:28: a Somnus Index of 84 labeled Steady, right around your recent nights, with morning check-in buttons reading Groggy, OK and Rested.
The Nightsong Apple Watch Smart Wake screen: Wake by 8:00 AM, a 30 minute wake window, waking with a wrist tap and no sound, in a lighter part of your sleep.
Your morning read, and a gentle wake, on your wrist.
The Nightsong Awards screen: 8 mornings in a row, with earned badges named First Light, Week One, Full Week, Steady Breathing, Scholar and 80 Club.
Consistency, not competition.

Modern AI. Kept honest. On your phone.

Two kinds of intelligence read your night. A learned model, the same kind of AI behind today's voice and photo tools, is trained to recognize the real sound of snoring and breathing. Then a set of plain, fixed checks throws out anything that was not actually loud enough or steady enough to be real. The model is smart. The checks keep it honest. And both run on your phone.

Most apps make you pick: a clever score you cannot see into, or a private app that is not very clever. We built both, on purpose. Same night, same number. Real number, or no number: if the night was not clearly heard, Nightsong shows no score instead of a guess. Your recordings stay on the device unless you choose to share.

Your data is your data

The analysis happens on the phone in your hand. Your recordings stay on your device. You decide if anything is ever shared.
